A Proverb: Three Things

August 21, 2012

Triùir a thig gun iarraidh – gaol, eud is eagal. (TRE-ur a HIG guh NEERee–gool, eh-ud iss eh-uh-gul.)  Three that come unbidden – love, jealousy and fear.

I confess, it’s a busy, crazy day, and I found this on wikiquote.  It uses some words previously used here, along with new ones, in addition to just being a nice taste of Gaelic culture.
